Corundum castable is a refractory castable prepared by adding corundum as aggregate and powder with some binders. It has higher mechanical strength and abrasion resistance than high alumina refractory castables and mullite refractory castables, but slightly inferior thermal shock resistance.
Mainly used as lining material for various kilns such as boilers, blast furnaces, heating furnaces, ceramic kilns, etc.
Corundum castables contain early strength agents and explosion-proof agents, which have better high-temperature performance and usage effect. Heat resistant steel fibers can be added according to user requirements.
